This Ferrari F430 spyder has an incredible audio system upgrade by Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood and was able to keep the factory radio.
The owner of this Ferrari wanted the best in audio upgrades however he wanted to keep his factory radio. No problem! Here is a list of what was done to the car to meet his requirements…
Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 processor with 153 bands of equalization, time alignment and an independent subwoofer control knob. After we install this device and hook it up to our laptop via bluetooth we can control and tune each speaker in the car independently.
Sirius satellite radio was installed in the glove box and is controlled by a wireless remote control. The remote will work even if the glove box is closed.
Also installed in the glove box were the controls for the Escort SRX “ticket avoidance” system. This system was installed to warn the driver of upcoming X,K & KA bands of police radar while “defusing” laser guns.
Focal Utopia Be Kit No.6 two way component speakers we installed in the doors. The tweeters were molded into the triangular plastic corner of the where the window meets the door panel.
Two Pioneer shallow 12″ subwoofers were installed in a custom fabricated enclosure behind the seats. We then used matching Ferrari Alcantara suede to cover the enclosure and incorporate Daytona style inserts.
Two Alpine PDX series digital amplifiers were installed under the front bonnet totalling over 1600 watts of power. Alcantara suede was used to finish off the panels and frame the Focal Crossblock network.
