This limited edition Range Rover is now an AE Limited Edition SUV built by Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood, CA.

When we were approached to customize this Range Rover the client made it very clear. #1 he did not want it to look or have an audio system like the hundreds of other Range Rovers driving around in Beverly Hills and that there was no budget to create this AE Edition SUV. With rules like those we came up with the following that has was never done before.

EXTERIOR UPGRADES:

* All the mesh area of the grilles were custom painted Santorini black to match the truck.

* All the outer grille frames and exterior silver panels front & rear were wrapped in 3M carbon fiber material.

* The exhaust tips were painted matte black

* 22″ custom made one-of-a-kind NC Forged multi spoke wheels were built with a machined outer lip and gloss black spokes. Yokohama Parada tires were used.

AUDIO UPGRADES: 

* 2 Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 EQ processors were installed. These processors allow us to connect to them via Bluetooth and controlled from a laptop give you 153 bands of equalization, time alignment, subwoofer control knob and total control of the audio system.

* 2 sets of Focal Utopia Kit No.7 Be were installed front and rear of the vehicle. These 3-way component speakers are the most expensive and best sounding speakers in the industry!

* 2 Kenwood eXcelon 10″ shallow woofer were custom installed in the rear cargo area. These woofer are made with carbon fiber.

* 3 Alpine PDX Series digital amplifiers were installed to power the system totalling over 2,200 watts or power.

* The Alpine amplifiers and Focal Cossblocks were installed in a new rear cargo floor panel without loosing any trunk space.

* Keeping with the theme carbon fiber and saddle leather were used throughout the install.

Brembo performance 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake upgrade.

Custom black piano gloss finish was done to the interior wood pieces on both sides of the center console and all four door inserts.

Back in 2004 if you owned a Range Rover and wanted it customized correctly you took your Rover to Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood,Ca. Still known today for customizing Rover this one was one of the first. Here is a list of what was done to the truck.

Strut grille kit with custom painted frames to match the exterior paint of the truck and to tone down all the chrome.

NC Forged custom made A-E 54 style 22″ wheels with custom painted spokes and a chrome vein.

Brembo brake upgrade from the front.

Silver carbon fiber interior replaced all the walnut Range Rover wood. We also customized the steering wheel and shifter in silver carbon fiber.

Rear seat entertainment with an Alpine DVD player installed in the glove box.

Custom made stainless steel door sill foot plates that illuminate Range Rover.

Suede headliner that also included all the interior A, B and C pillars. Real Burberry fabric was used to cover the sunroof cover and visors.
