There is no need to upgrade much on a Porsche Carrera so all this California cruiser needed was a little speaker modification from factory 2 way to a more modern, higher fidelity 3 way system from Focal audio. The team from Al & Ed’s Santa Monica installed a Focal audio poly 3 way system in this drop top that is already equiped with an amplifier and subwoofer system. Sometimes the simplest upgrades make the biggest difference.

Like any LA beauty that has been on the mean streets for 22 years a car audio makeover was long over-due for this Porsche beauty and the team from Al & Ed’s Santa Monica have the quality hands & skill to handle hand-hold this German classic. Having a stealth audio system is key for this California cruiser and all audio upgrades are hidden. A pair of Alpine V12 amps provide the power for this blue beauty and an Alpine Pandora Headunit with Apple ipod connect allows for audio streaming thru the Focal audio 6 1/2 inch component speakers in the front & rear. A completely custom built stealth box houses a Kenwood KFC-XW800F subwoofer concealed in the stock back seat location. More pictures and a follow-up post will follow upon build completion.
