This daily work-truck is getting a complete interior sound upgrade. Since its owner is always on the road working hard he needed a little something extra for the stop and go traffic of LA, so the team from Al & Ed’s Santa Monica have breathed new life into this 1998 Chevy extended cab. An aftermarket Kenwood headunit provides control over the Rockford Fosgate subwoofers and door speakers. The power for the soundsystem is shared a pair of Amps from Alpine & Rockford Fosgate and a stealth subwoofer box hides underneath the rear bench for security. From the outside it looks like a normal worktruck, but its whats inside that counts.

It’s always a pleasure to work on a Vintage classic and this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was a pleasure to work on. Phase one of the restoration included new interior flooring with Dynamatt door panels, floring and a custom OEM carpet kit. A basic alarm system with starter kill and a custom hood lock were also added to prevent tampering under the hood. Cleanly conceeled under the hood of this classic LA cruiser is a 484 Big Block engine cranking out 700 HP, a Turbo 400 Currie 9″ Ford Rear End. Baer brakers, 4 piston front 13″ Rotors and rear 12″ rotors. Focal Audio speakers are hidden all around in custom kick panels and in the rear deck and grills are all painted to match the factory interior. A pair of Rockford Fosgate amps power the front and rear stage and powering the pair of JL Audio 10W3′s. From the looks of this car it looks stock, but it packs a boom. Future upgrades are also planned for this white lightning!

This classic small block 402 has been decked out to rock the streets of LA. Powered by 4 Focal amplifiers(2 FPS 1500 series & 2 FPS 4160s) from the Focal Power Symetric series provide plenty of boom for the 2 Focal 13 inch subwoofers(K233KX) and two sets of Focal 3 way component speakers(K2 power 165KRX3). A pioneer AVIC Z130 headunit runs the entire system. 8 hi dash caps control power usage.A backup camera also provides protection from the rear. More modifications are planned in 2012.
